How to stop dinner plates from rattling on charger plates?

What do people use to stop dishes rattling on top of charger plates? I have a brand new beautiful set of glossed charger plates I love that coordinate colour on the table and are beautiful for presentation. However every course I serve on them, soup, salad, entree, the plates are wobbling around clanking on the chargers? Does anyone else have this problem? And with that, any solutions?

Get felt squares from the craft store and place them between dishes and chargers. Might want to trim to size so they don’t show.
