Beige (Pink) kitchen disappointment

My Beige kitchen was recently installed, and it did not turn out quite the way I had hoped. Does anyone have any advice on how to integrate this color? Make the kitchen look more natural? I was planning to place a black granite benchtop but now I am hesitant..

Are those painted cabinets or a laminate finish (not able to be painted). Yes those are indeed reading pink.

If you painted the walls a color that would make the cabinets look more white that may help. Ask at the paint desk at local store

Have you tried different light bulbs in your kitchen?

The room is full of natural light and this is when the pink color appears. At night the color changes to a more beige with the lighting..

Hmm. The biggest issue, IMO, is the contrast between the cabinets and the flooring. Assuming replacing the cabinets is not an option, I might go with a much darker stain on the floors, ebony perhaps? Then you might have to embrace the mid-century modern pinkness of this cabinetry and run with it. Perhaps find some aqua tiles for the backsplash and get some cool retro Formica countertops and lighting in a fun pattern:

Lastly, think about a brighter white for the walls so the pink cabinets don't look "off".

You could go with more of a grey black instead of pure black to lessen the contrast a smidge and embrace the 50s with some bold geometric tile for the backsplash? Pink can be made to read masculine, but black would probably be too much for the floors while a dark gray would hopefully unify.

I was also thinking dark gray.

I’m not always a tile to the ceiling person, but in this case I’d argue it would give you that feature wall appeal that would minimize the tone clashing.

What is the actual name of the laminate shade? I'd put that color into Google and do an image search... so, if the color's name is, say "Hawaiian Sunset" I'd search "Hawaiian Sunset kitchen cabinets." You'll get images of kitchens with that cabinet color, and you'll see what color paint, backsplash, flooring, etc. others have used. You're bound to see at least a few you like & can emulate.

Uh OH...... Dear John letters are never good. What happened? My guess is this chosen beige was selected from a small chip, or not compared against white?

I couldn't live with it. You CAN have laminated painted. I would consult a pro, have all door faces, drawer faces removed, and the remainder done on site. Delay use, get out for a week. The scent of both primer and paint will be toxic. But.......beats a pink kitchen.

We just painted our laminate cabinets and they turned out great. A good primer and quality paint is all you need. Ask at the paint store, they’ll know what to do. Good luck.

A darker neutral would minimize it. What is the current wall color?

The only noticeable spot is the shadows in the open cubbies on island...and won't they have objects...or you could veneer the back of each cubicle. You are not done w your space...keep going w your tasks.
