The lamps are great but the night stands are a little small. They could be larger, especially the one on the far side of the bed - it could be more like a chest. The draperies should graze the floor and you might consider crown moulding at the ceiling to balance the nice window trims.

Well, our furniture is all a matching set, so I dont think we’re going to get bigger nightstands...it would make more sense to get smaller lamps. Eventually I’d love to put a floor mirror in the far corner to balance out that extra space. And yes, the curtains are too short. But what color should I go for? White? Darker blue? Same color? I feel like our room has a lot of the porcelain blue going on....don’t know whether to stick with the monochromatic or change it up. Here are some photots of the rest of the room

Yes the lamp is too big for the table. Larger tables would be my fix, and not matching to add some pizaaz. Can you swap them for other table in another room?

Too bad you bought the set IMO the nightstands are too small for the rest of the furniture.

The lamp is a perfect size for the room but it overwhelms the size of the night stand. I agree the night stand could have been larger for the space..

I don't mind the lamps, it looks practical if you want to read in bed. If you do decide to get something different I would select glass lamps to balance the sturdy furniture. Would not hang anything over the bed. What color are the walls? I might remove what you have at the bottom of the bed in favor of maybe white folded quilt of draped throw. The curtains read old lady to me, I'd go for fuller white sheers or linens.

Walls are a neutral beige color. And I totally agree about the blanket at the foot of the bed. I wondered about doing an airy white curtain as you suggest, was concerned the room would look colorless, but maybe I’ll give it a try.

I agree the night stands “could” be bigger, but since they aren’t, I think a smaller lamp would make things look more proportional. I tried another one that was the wrong color, but I think closer to the right size

With really tall ceilings you can add artwork and decor above this bed. This is a King.
