Hi,What material was used for the fascia?

My house has a similar roof structure with western cedar lap and gap used for the fascia. I want to change to a material requiring less maintenance but looks good.The fascia on this project looks quite nice!

Hi Bill . This is a stained Western Red Cedar shingle. Not really a low maintenance product. I do believe you can get a fiber board shingle?

Oops.. almost year late. But the fascia is solid western red cedar. I misread your question.
