Really, there is no need at all for semi gloss in a kitchen ( except for trim)

You could do a washable flat, but honestly those are not that washable. I would just do eggshell everywhere.

Just use an eggshell finish on all walls, satin on trim. Nothing shiny about eggshell, and easy to wash a mark. Flat on the ceiling everywhere.

You can use an eggshell paint everywhere, but without some separation of spaces through cases openings, ceiling height changes, or other architectural indicators, it’s going to feel like a eggshell painted warehouse.

I have eggshell everywhere in my house besides a couple of rooms are satin. It's easy to wash even in the kitchen. I do have a tile backsplash so I don't ever really wash anything off the painted walls in the kitchen. The most sheen I would ever go is satin. I have that in my bathrooms & kids rooms.

thanks everyone for your suggestions! i will look into the paint suggestions and feel more comfortable not going with a semi gloss paint now so i can keep the sheen consistent!
