Extremely small bathroom Reno to quote!!

I just finished a meeting with some repeat clients about their basement guest bathroom. Its very small and needs some space saving tips / ideas for the overall look. we are swapping the vanity for a pedestal sink to open it up abit. It is 7' x 4.5'.
There is an option to increase the size of the shower as there is a shelving nook in the adjacent bedroom.

So far we need
-Need flooring ideas
-light fixture styles
-pedestal and toilet style.
-tile layout/ style (budget friendly)

I've added a photo of the living room to aid the suggestions. The theme is abit of a mix. it would also be helpful if someone could let me know what you'd classify this as! Thanks!

Lots of mirror too. Helps expand space and bounce light around.

Yes! these are great, I really like the idea of having as much glass as possible. Having more mirrors to bounce light around and give the illusion that the space is larger is a good suggestion! we are definitely planning on doing as much white as possible to brighten things up abit.
    - Here is a tile I'm currently working with in another reno. I suggested it to them and they like it. what do you think? would a vertical tile be better to give the feel of a taller ceiling? or is it best to focus on creating the illusion of 'width' with a horizontal tile. Thanks :)

Wow, toilet is right by the door, not hidden by vanity? Guests want counter space to put toiletry bag, so not a pedestal sink. 24” floating vanity with floor showing under it. Floor tile repeated in same or almost same color on shower floor but in 1” - 2” matte tiles. Frameless bypass shower door. Shower niche. Shower subway tiles to ceiling, in staggered pattern. Hooks instead of towel bar if wall space is tight. Light in shower ceiling. Handheld shower head on slider bar instead of stationary shower head.

I would do standard horizontal layout for the tile, because the vertical will create visual narrowing on the space. You want expand, not taller. I would also pay attention to that layout for the flooring as well. Just depends on your choice. Hexagon in white with gray grout would be timeless and easy to keep clean looking. Gray doesn't show usual dirt. I would do matching grout to tile on shower though. Again, less busy look.

Chrome fixtures would also keep things bright and bounce light as well.

Every bathroom needs some storage, even a basement bathroom. If this is the bathroom for guests staying a night or three, it has everything necessary except for style. I would redo it in several shapes of white tiles with a lightly frosted glass door for the shower and a sink/vanity with a bit of counter area for necessities and some storage. A glass shelf below the mirror would help, too.
