Orange is such a happy color! Could you post a picture of the art piece that is hiding behind the sofa? I suspect it may have some color/style clues to aid suggestions for you.

With your strong colors in accent wall and sofa, I recommend you choose a color concept like the first photo you posted. The soft greens in the art piece would be a great guide for art, rug, lamps, and other accents. In fact, I would rethink the orange and black pillows that are now on your sofa. You can incorporate some orange in a patterned pillow that has a neutral background and perhaps some soft greens and beige. How does that sound? Two plants that have impact are fiddle leaf fig and Chinese evergreen. In your space I suggest you use one type of planter for all of your plants, either a white or clay pot on a stand. It's better to have a couple of large plants than a bunch of littles. Your space is nice and modern and has a hint of Zen to it so plants will really be at home. I'll look for examples of planters.
