Well, I am sure we could help you make the inside look more like the outside. but i have to say the inside looks just like newly built houses. so that is more your choice i think. and perhaps you just want to use what you have and add a few pieces that will give you more of the look you want, but it does not have to match the exterior.

you mentioned a lot of pics from around the world, I am guessing you want to know how to use. I have collected some idea. the one thing that is universal is using the same color frames. you can use varied but you have to have more skills to make it work.

Lovely! One idea would be to use the long hall as a gallery for your collection of photographs. I'd seek out a professional frame shop and work with them to coordinate the layout, frames, etc.

I agree that you should try your furniture in the space as the inside reads more modern than the outside. You can always add oriental rugs and a few antique pieces here and there to mix up the styles a bit.

they are singing the song i felt. believe it or not if you keep modern lines simple, you can mix old with it easily. if you put that in search there have been many articles and dilemmas about it. bring in what you want to keep then add what you love to it. Don't forget to enjoy!

Without seeing the floorplan of your condo and knowing the layout of the kitchen and adjoining rooms, I'd be tempted to keep that long wall to display your many photos.

At any rate, I'd be tempted to live in the apartment at least for several months, maybe hang the photos on the wall and see what you think. If you ultimately decide to remove the wall, then at least you'll be more certain of your choice.

I agree with the others above who suggest trying your existing furniture. You can always add in several French Normandy/country pieces later.
