just trying to find the sections / focal points in our new L shape open floor plan. Saw all house&home vids on youtube but still need help :)

Is the only option to put the TV/living room into the right corner and dining table close to the kitchen?

we have 2 young boys, want to spend a lot of time on the first floor.

small kitchen island to divide the 2 section maybe? how do you draw the lines here to connect the corners?

we would like to put a couch and 2 chairs and coffee table somewhere, + dining table with 4-6 seats or w bank on one side.

pictures and furnitures are from prev owner.
