The space between my peninsula and kitchen table is too close and drives me crazy. Presently the table and hanging lighting fixture is centered with the sliding door which goes out to my sunroom. I want to purchase a new lighting fixture since my kitchen was redone last year. Any thoughts of not centering the new lighting fixture with the slider; therefore, giving me more room between the peninsula and the table. I have the extra space on the other side of the table.
