Flooring Design Dilemma

Floors similar to the look of Provenza Palais Royale Versailles

I am trying to find a floor similar to the provenza, my flooring contractor showed me another floor and it would save me $13K. But I am not "in love" with it. The flooring is going through my entire first floor, which is basically my whole house, its a rancher. Here are the two options, any other suggestions would be very helpful!

I highly suggest you stay away from gray wood. It's a trend that is already dying and it won't age well. Flooring is such a big expense it should be as timeless as possible. Go for a natural stain. (Also, gray floor doesn't match the ranch style home)
