Secret wine cellar

Sharing for fun. If I had a wine cellar like this I wouldn't need to keep it secret, but it's a fun idea. (Handy if Prohibition is ever reinstated?)

I saw this on a friends FB page. I love the idea of the trap door in the floor for a wine cellar or pantry. This one eliminates all the cabinets/appliances you can put in the island though! Here I am making my island bigger and bigger to get more into it!

I have a wine storage area. The prior owners put quite a lot of time and expense to create it. I have tried to start stocking it. However, I keep drinking what I put in there!!!! To save me from myself, I stopped trying. #alanonnothankyou

For me, the worn path in the floor that dead ends into the side of the island will give it away.

I recommend the stair have a handrail on BOTH sides.
