Buy a Honda. And oversize it. An AC draws s lot of power at start up. That is complete junk.

Each appliance has a name plate with the amperage and voltage - you need to add them all together. It should be less than 50.

IMO - it's not practical - you will have to store 5? 10? gallons of gasoline, it will run constantly and be very noisy - you will need some long extension cords rated at 15 amps.

Save the money and go to a motel for a day.

We have a Honda 3000 that we use at our remote cabin, to supplement the solar panel, when we need A/C in the summer. It will run both a mini split and a window unit overnight, without refueling. We plan to upgrade to a generator that runs off propane for this season. Beware of the “deals”—chances are it will be junk, and you will be unable to get the parts you need from China when it breaks down!

Unless your camping backwoods, please do everyone a favour and just get a site with electric hookup. I remember in our camping days having to listen to that gd. hum of the generator. People go camping to get away from that kind of noise. We were so thankful when it ran out of fuel at 3 in the morning.

At 240V. . A 6000 W generator is only 1/4 the size of the 100 Amp feed.

A window air conditioner, or one of those so-called portable units, use 120v and probably a bit less than 15 amps, say 12 amps. That's less than 2 kw. If that is what you want to do, a generator of this size (7kw) will do it.

what if i was to get back up batteries... ?

as in like 3 or so used batteries i have sitting around to to run a strip off lights and a fan and a few chargers
