Have you thought of a couple of hangers for plants i.e. macrame? Or find a two tier planter. Remember some house plants do well away from the window...Pathos don't need much light and ferns need only good light and can be a few feet away from your window. Google low light plants and I am sure you can find more. I hear what you are saying....I have too many plants and can't wait till warm weather so they can go on the patio.
