What is the material used in the sink/countertop?

No, we used a local studio that specializes in concrete countertops. They are fairly popular here. I would recommend a Google search for concrete countertops in your area. Also, there are a few quartzite composite materials that look very very similar and are much more forgiving. I recommend Ceasarstone products for this look. Concrete needs to be sealed and patinas over time. You have to embrace this to love it :)
