I think white wood trim would probably be ok if the style matches the style of the cabinet. But I think a matching gray might look nicer. You could start with a white one, and if you don't like the way it looks, you could get paint to match the vanity color, and paint it gray yourself. Or you could sidestep the issue and get a medicine cabinet that is mirror without a wood frame around it.
