I am going to update our large brass chandelier by painting it either black or a dark oil-rubbed bronze. I want to also add crystals. I've found traditional prism-cut tear drop clear crystals but then a really unique smooth tear drop ball crystals https://magtrim.com/collections/crystal-charms-clear/products/copy-of-30mm-smooth-glass-ball-total-length-4-magnetic-chandelier-crystal 

Which would look better? A diamond-cut clear tear drop or the smooth, ball tear drop? Or other?

Also looking for ideas on swapping out the bulbs for something different or possibly adding simple shades? Ideas please?
