Remember is a stunner Esther! I hope you are successful with Silver Threads & Golden Needles. I think I've lost mine to voles. I haven't made the official call yet but I don't think there is a crown left :( It was one of my favs - hope yours grows big & strong. Love the minis in their own saucers or troughs. Nice job.

Love your Remember Me. Mine stays pretty colorful all year but is in quite dense shade. Last year it had a couple shoots reverting, will either cut them out or dig and divide.

Barb, you see those stones surrounding my little ones? Those are anti-squirrel stones. Only thing that seems to keep them at bay. I've tried anti-squirrel powders, sprays, red pepper flakes, etc. and NOTHING worked---except surrounding plants with stones like those. The rodent devils can't dig up plants protected like that.

Old Dirt, my Remember Me is in an east-facing location. It gets morning sun, then the shadow of the building overtakes the area by noon or 1 p.m. Every year, in the spring, it is that spectacular banana yellow that I L-O-V-E. But come summer, it turns to cream where it was yellow. Boo!

Karin, what can I say? "Great minds think alike!" I was assured that this planter would provide enough room for all three mini hostas' root systems. I sure hope so, as the container is very pretty. Is the Lakeside Zinger in the same pot as the Silver Threads and Golden Needles? You notice I have a STGN at each end, with Dinky Donna in the middle.

Esther, yes Lakeside Zinger is also in this pot. I have to take a new picture, they have really grown this week. It's just funny that we both have such a pot with STGN. I also planted a few new ones today.

Found seven of those pots at the scrap metal dealer and planted Masquerade, Tortifrons and Cameo. They are short pieces of gutter closed at both ends and are standing on small metall feet. They fit perfectly on my new wooden stairs and I will plant more of my minis tomorrow.

popmama, today is planting day. I love weekends in the garden :-)

Karin, my terracotta planter is 16" long (from interior wall to interior wall) x 6" wide (from interior wall to interior wall), and about 6" deep. I noticed that the Dinky Donna in the middle unfurled the very next day. I think the STGN are a bit slower growing. They have not yet fully unfurled, with some leaves open and others at half-mast.
