Hi experts,

We're working on a design for our master bathroom - I already asked about layout, thank you to those who weighed in! We've settled on layout and will have a 72" vanity that fits between an exterior wall and shower wall on the other side. I really like the overall design.

Originally, we had planned to do two mirrored medicine cabinets. Our designer friend has suggested one large mirror for that wall with a tile frame. We'd do can lights above as our lighting (probably in either case, doesn't seem like we have space for sconces). If we did the one mirror, we'd likely recess a medicine cabinet into the exterior wall.

My questions are: would the medicine cabinets look out of date? or the large mirror? what would you all suggest? I thought it was funny she had a strong preference for a large mirror, but I am clearly not an expert!
