The handles are push catches, you push the door to release the catch. IKEA also have very discreet handles in white.

Hi, I love your side tables! They are great. I would paint the room a soft blue/grey/green, and then purchase a cool pendant light/chandelier/moroccan lantern, or whatever fits your style. Then, I would rip up the carpet and refinish the floors, if possible. You should get an expert in to see the flooring. I terms of drapery, I would go with a floor length curtain style. You could either do it in a jewel tone velvet, or in a pattern! There are many options. Then, I would purchase the West Elm Moroccan headboard, and position it against that wardrobe wall with the side tables on either side. I would paint the shoe molding white, or I would install crown molding in the same natural wood. It looks as if you can do a small seating arrangement against that back wall with the mural on it! You should put two slipper chairs, a cocktail table, and a floor lamp in that area, which would make it a perfect cozy nook! Good luck.

Don't get rid of it, there i so much you can do: if you want to leave it as is with the glass, you could use it to store your nice heels, purses, accessories and jewelry. Use fabric bins and put all of your belts, scarves, tights, whatever. Showcase some heels and purses. you can use some jewelry display, either horizontal or vertical. It will look so put-together that you will easily put things away in their places to keep the order. Also, you will probably use your accessories more if they are easy to get to and organized. Whatever you decide, it will also keep it dust free. If you want to change the look of the glass, get some looking glass spray (might be Rustoleum product) and it will add a mirror finish to the glass. You can also finish it with that spray to look like mercury glass, just follow some online instructions. I think it takes vinegar and water sprayed on the glass prior to the looking glass spray. You can also just tape some pretty fabric, wallpaper or scrapbook paper on the inside of the glass to conceal what you have inside. Good luck and have fun with it!

Small bronze handle - or silver. Any size if "Stainless" - also called "Brushed Nickle". It looks like you are considering bronze to go with the chairs and silver to go with appliances. From the picture it looks like the bronze you are considering is called "Oil Rubbed Bronze" Once you pick the finish you have the daunting task of picking size and style/shape. It is a task that does make a huge difference in the kitchen. Pick the one you love. Best wishes.
