The dwarf yaupons were very small when planted and they area approximately 10-12 inches apart.

I would like that look but my plan was to plant them 2 feet apart, center to center. I don't know the size of the plants because the HOA of my community is planting them and I haven't seen them yet. I was concerned that I wasn't planning to plant them the typical 3 feet apart. I like how these look, but wouldn't mind also letting them grow together to form a 1-foot hedge as a border to the front planting bed of my condo. Like the formal French/English garden look. Behind them, I will be planting drift roses. Thoughts? Is 2 feet okay or closer? Thank you so much!!

They are only providing 6 dwarf yaupon hollies and they will be along the border of the bed which is 12' wide. So, 2 feet apart seemed to work out.
