FFE = First Flower Ever

Folks sometimes bastardize these to fit the occasion and invent others for the same reason.

Welcome David! FFO indicated the bloom is the first of the of the season. FFE means it's the first time the owner has ever seen it bloom.

You are in a great place to grow daylilies, David. But even though ours bloom earlier n the south, you will many really gorgeous daylilies from our more northern neighbors and other beautiful plants that we can't grow so well, like Celeste's roses and Mantis' peonies. Welcome to forum, home you make it one of your "homes" on the forum.

Welcome, David, you are in trouble now. LOL!!! This great group of enablers are all set to help you jump feet first--and everything else--into the wonderful world of daylilies. Sometimes I use SFO meaning Second Flower Open because I wouldn't post a picture of FFO because it wasn't so great. I haven't done an TFO yet, but that could be a possibility:) If you need information about any aspect of daylily growing, chances are you will find it here. Of course, the beautiful pictures are icing on the cake, so enjoy and jump in.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like this is just what I need, a bunch of enablers/instigators telling me I really need this or that daylily then another saying just get them both as you never have too many.

I really do enjoy the pictures and I just this year planted my 1st daylilies and am now impatiently waiting on some flowers from them.
