Don, I don't think that's Francee. That's way too pretty for Francee. I love Francee because it's fast, easy and looks good, but not that good.

You have about four colors there. I think Francee only has the two colors - green and white. Also,k the white margin is not that wide.

Francee was one of the first hosta I bought by mail order. It was sent to me for Wide Brim. It was huge and always looked nice. Unfortunately, I lost it to the rhizoctonia rot. It was the first to succomb.

I just have one comment on this (other than - these are all pictures of very pretty hostas/leaves)....

You guys all are dissing Francee, which I think is an absolutely gorgeous plant. I'm so excited that I was finally able to get one this year. It's already growing for me, and I can't wait until it starts to mature a bit in a few years... I think a fully mature Francee is a sight to behold!

Don, Could it be Fortunei Albomarginata? Karin yours looks like Francee to me.

Ken, did you mean the word “celadon” as in “that celadon streaking” when describing that colour... instead of “cleandon”?

This is what I am calling Francee, it was purchased as Mildred Seaver but through this forum was told it was more likely Francee. It is one of five mature ones I have. All from dividing the original one. Fast grower and trouble free, really like its form.
