Can you take a pic of the rest of the room so we can come up with some new ideas?

In general it looks pretty great! Do you feel like something is missing? Maybe the lighter floors will take a bit of time to get used to.

You've got a great space and some versatile pieces. I do think a darker rug would help to anchor the space. Right now everything is essentially off-white minus a few pillows.

Figure out what your accent color is and use it in three's i.e. rug, curtains and art work or pillows. Just adding some color and anchoring the space will take it to the next level.

I think it looks very nice. Clean. If it were my room I'd add color. In the pillows? In the rug?

It is all very neutral at the moment. Decide what color accents are your preference- blues, greens, oranges and then add throw pillows and a rug that tie together to help add some personality to the space.

Would you consider placing the sofa directly in front of the television and hearth which would be an angle, then put the lovely chairs to the right and left of the sofa. It would give more room around the room to merchandise some color, art, pieces etc. Just a thought.
