Yes it comes from the south...lots of light and really high ceilings. I think maybe the brown on the walls now throws off the colors but if you look at the picture of where the shelves are going to be , both those colors are also on there. thanks so much. smoke embers on top and cumulus cloud on the bottom.

IMO, for south light both your choices are too pale and will wash out with all the daylight. Conversely, at night, when lights on on a deeper gray will hold its own, as well.

Love this light and bright bathroom where gull wing gray is used on trim.
