I'd go with English bronze, but polished nickel would work as well. Is your hardware PN?

The SAME finish for both fixtures. And I would do the Bronze, given the furniture. You already have a finish in satin nickel/ brushed stainlesslfaucet, and stainless appliances. Plenty. It's ONE room. You show a wood orb, then show a glass globe. .........which IS the fixture? Because they don't relate that well if you are doing both.

English Bronze to bring some contrast into the space. Caution on the glass globes over an island. They tend to get dusty and cloudy pretty fast and require more frequent cleaning than other choices. You might check out some of the Mercury glass pendants if you want a form of glass. Another possibility is an open lantern in a larger size. You can get more light from them because they have 3-4 bulbs. Use frosted bulbs to control the light level. Your island looks like it is interior to the space so you probably can use more light.

JAN MOYER - sorry that definitely wasn't super clear. The wood orb is going over the kitchen table. I see you said that you don't think they go well together, but I really like it . I will definitely take your advice on the English Bronze though!

Flo Mangan - I do love that open lantern light, and I was concerned about the amount of dust/grease the glass globes might attract - perhaps I will take a look at those options as well. Thank you!!
