Did you have a prolonged cool and wet spring this year? Blossoms that turn black in addition to curled leaves sounds more like a fungal disease.

Do you Spray your trees with a fungicide in the spring? Spraying preventively before a disease starts and fruit starts developing is important for the health of the tree, leaves, and fruit.

Probably not much you can do this year, just make sure after the leaves fall off in the Fall you rake them up and burn or trash them to help prevent disease problems in the Spring (really important), and if you don't spray your tree look into it for next spring, although depending on the size and shape of the tree it might be difficult to do if it's really big.
