Shower pan advice please! Match bathroom floor or shower wall? See pic

I found the tile I want to use for my son's bathroom floor and shower wall, but can't commit/decide what tile to use for the shower pan. Should I pick a tile that is similar in color to the bathroom floor (like the pics) or one that is lighter and matches the shower wall??? Can't find a light tile that goes with the lighter wall tile (white is too white). **pay no attention to the taupe subway**

Where is the hex tile going? Could you use it for the shower pan? I like the larger scale grey/brown tile and I like the marble looking white variegated for the wall. I think I'd do the larger dark tile for the rest of the floor, the hex in the shower (you could use it in a niche if you like as well) and the white marble looking for the walls. I like your choices. I think it will look very nice. What colour vanity have you got in mind and also faucet and hardware?

Yes, sorry, the 12x24 is for the bathroom floor, the variegated is the shower wall and I'm thinking that hex for the floor. I just wasn't sure if I wanted a dark or light shower floor. I thought I might have wanted the entire shower to look "light" and try to find something that matched the wall tile rather than the floor tile (if that makes sense). The vanity is a creamy white.

Typically we match the bathroom floor to the shower floor. If the bathroom floor tile is too large and slippery, we'd cut it into smaller pieces. Do make sure that your shower floor tile is not slippery when wet. There are products that you can put on the tile afterward to add some grit if needed. Your shower most likely has a threshold and make sure that is well-delineated so you won't stub your toes. Keep in mind that natural stone requires more maintenance and is not as resilient as porcelain tile.

We are doing our master bath. Im doing the shower pan floor in the same accent tile that will be in the shower.
The bathroom floor will be a wood look tile

Sounds pretty Stephanie! Since my son's wall is a gloss tile, we're not able to use that as floor tile.

I like that combo a lot, lite on shower walls and dark on bathroom floors and hex on shower floor and niche if you have one . But if bathroom very small I would carry bathroom floor tile into the shower floor. My dilemma here tho would be would you tile shower curb to match shower wall Ot bathroom floor?
