We are doing a partial redo of a powder room: replacing old vanity, sink, mirror, tiling the wall behind the mirror with mother-of-Pearl mosaic tile and hanging bronze metallic cork wallpaper on the other three walls. We plan to keep the dark gray limestone floor tile, and toilet. One thing I didn't think of was whether we should replace the existing 3" white plain baseboard with something else (more modern style). The walls and floor will be dark, and the new vanity will be a wall- hung carbonized bamboo (i.e. Honey-colored), and the countertop will be a taupe colored quartz. Any thoughts?
