I have more than 12 vertical cracks on my old concrete foundation under a crawlspace. I hired a contractor for repairs and they used I believe it’s epoxy and use Simpson straps for each crack. When I inspected those repairs cracks it doesn’t seem right. They applied the epoxy but not fully seal the cracks leaving gaps and the cracks goes below the soil line and didn’t attempt to seal it. How should a typical repair of a vertical concrete crack should be done on a foundation?
