Transitional, slightly industrial TV room - help appreciated!

Heya folks! I've been slowly filling out my "media room" over the past year or so. My style is kind of hodge podge - I like a bit of everything but tend to keep things fairly modern. Overall I'm fairly happy with how this room is coming along, but I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for the area to the left of my TV. The wall color is dark blue and the only item on that wall is the media unit with the television (and the roomba if you can count that, haha).

The space between the window feels weird and empty to me. I don't really have need of another shelving unit, as there are already two bookcases in this room on the opposite wall. It feels strange to hang a picture here, since it's so off center and not really "connected" to anything else. Maybe the empty space is fine and I am overthinking it? I would love some input!

Also I doubt it would make a difference to any advice I receive, but just this afternoon I swapped out the black curtains for some lighter colored curtains that recede into the background a bit more.
