How to paint a bathroom that has 50 shades of beige

First time poster here.

Recently moved into a lovely 1979 expansive ranch. As I go through room-by-room, I am finding some rooms harder to work with. Take for example this bathroom: brown tiled floor with a Different shad or brown accent tile, paired with beige-ish tub surround, beige-ish back splash tile (sorry, not visible in pic), beige toilet, beige countertop.

The home was "whitewahsed" prior to move in.

I want to paint the room and suspected going with the brown would be successful, but i don't know that it is. See wall swatches. i have photoshop; "trying out" the colors ended fruitlessly.

As with other rooms in the house, i want to work WITH whats there (floors, counters, cabinets, etc), NOT replace. i want to bridge my style (Danish modern) with the age and style of the home - it's "natural character".

Please no shiplap. Nothing "retro". Nothing too feminine.
