A round mirror medicine cabinet would work fine for people who are all exactly the same height.

The problem with round is the hinges.

Hmm there seems to be a number of round bathroom mirrors that work for ppl of all heights...I think the hinge comment makes a lot of sense and what I was figuring. I guess I'll have to consider either a round non cabinet mirror and find another storage solutions or get my brain around oval. Thanks!

RH has porthole style medicine cabinet... Not sure if it's recessed, but looks like it. There are also many square recessed medicine cabinets with round mirror face.

I remember seeing one or two when shopping for med cabs. Their recessed box is very small, since it must fit inside the circle.. Then there is the issue of the size of the wall cavity. The box ends up 14 x 14. The mirror, 16 or 17” round.

See what I mean about tiny? This is the only kind I have seen.

The roundness makes opening the hinge a problem if they get bigger.
