I have no home decorating genes, as far as rugs and room colors andfinding things that look right together. I was visiting my son this weekend to see his new townhome, and he mentioned that he wanted an area rug for his bedroom - it's a large room and he wants something to give it a little "oomph".

We could not find anything in the stores that he liked, so we looked online, and here are a few that he thought might work.

I'd be grateful for any thoughts from those out there that have those decorating genes that I am missing.

Trying to stay under $175 for an 8x10 - he's 25 and this is a college town. :-)
