The island is painted a custom color with multiple custom glazes. While the cabinets flanking the range match the island, the other perimeter cabinets are stained black walnut. The shelf above the range's alcove is an Afghan antique left the original color.

As mentioned in answers to other viewers' questions, the counters are typically Spanish Gold Marble with an antique finish. Next to the range, we switched to honed Rossa Laguna, which more directly relates to the colors of the adjacent brickwork.
