Sorry to hear that Omar. I planted this one you gave me with a couple of Agriform fertilzer pellets. I don't know if that made a difference, but it sure took off and is still growing through this heat. There's been no scorching of any of the leaves at all. I'm going to let it be a small tree if it wants to.

Agave metalifolia "Big Blue"

Love it, looks very real!

Well, shape wise it's a pretty good representation of an agave, but the paint job is definitely 'gilding the lily'. Oh well ... that's what art does, sometimes.

No fake agaves here, but driven mad (perhaps) by heat, hail, freezes, and drought, the colors of THIS Moroccan garden, Jardin Majorelle, inspire me. Skim through and LOOK at all those painted pots and benches!

Here we go: this bed in front of the pigeon loft was just a weedy mess of different plants. Now it's all cleaned up with just one clump of 'Fruit cocktail' shrimp and a brug from Carrie that just got a nice dose of fish emulsion after a summer of unintended neglect ...

The three wonderful water stations that genius Bob set up in different parts of the yard did not miss getting a slap of the brush either!

I've always loved your additional color in the yard, Ragna! I'll go look at the links later when it's too hot to be outside. Getting some things ready and priced for plant sales.

Patty, you will see more color when you come. I am having fun taking out certain plants to simplify garden care while changing the design of the garden somewhat.

But it would be more fun if things turned out right the first time!

Sometimes, no ofttimes, the color has to be adjusted and things painted again and again ... oh well. Nothing comes easy in this world ... LOL
