I don’t suppose you’re looking to wall-mount the TV or use that TV in another room and wall-mount a larger TV here? Since that’s a new TV stand you can still use it to store the associated equipment and wiring unless you could also use it in another room and go with a floating media console here as well.

Other options might include built-ins on either side for books or decorative pieces.

If you opt to put artwork on either side, I wonder if it might be distracting when you’re watching TV.

I would consider getting a longer TV stand, or something wall mounted and hanging your TV on the wall.

You can then create a gallery wall which includes your TV.
