I used to have one. I got bored with its looks so I dug it up, threw it away and planted something else. Here's a pic:

EDIT: I'm kidding! I'd never get bored with GA. Its crown was destroyed by pests during dormancy a couple of seasons ago.

Both your GA's are beautiful. I am struggling to grow this one. One is very small (for years!) and this year I took it out of its pot and planted in the ground. The other one is larger but may have reverted to Blue Angel.

Sigh . . .

Love your Guardian Angel. How long have you had it and what kind of light does it get? This is a picture of mine in spring a year after planting. I don't have much varigation, but more than last year.

I can’t take the credit for this one. It’s actually my father-in-law’s. He was nice enough to let me divide it this weekend. He said it’s 8 years old and receives dappled sun.

And spring color. Though this year we had not spring. Summer came after winter....
