Looking into installing engineered HW floors in February-March 2019. The brands the flooring contractors (spoke with two separate companies) discussed were as follows: Abode, Dansk, Kentwood, and Shaw.

From your experience, which brand would you go with?

Details: 1,550 sf house - right now, considering the whole house. Initially, wanted to keep carpet in the bedrooms but the carpet was installed new in November 2015 and it's not the best quality (nor the worst), but am already seeing fraying at the edges.
