I agree with Chatelle. Grays have tendency to change hues in different lights. They can turn purple, blue, green. I suggest you paint some sample boards of the colors you are considering and put them up in different places in the kitchen at different times of day to make sure the color of paint is right for you. We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and our designer suggested we paint the cabinets and trim the same white color.

Thank you all. I had 2 contractors come yesterday. Debating if I need to do the inside cabinets as well. One guy went down $1000 if did outside and touch up inside. So, white it is! It does get bright enough in there. Next time I'll turn the lights up. Thank you again Houzz friends! Go Astros!! What a series!

Flo, I'm sorry for any confusion! And thank you so much for taking time to read through my ramblings and making suggestions. I will need to paint cabinets before we get the slab. Hence, my agony. I don't know how long they can keep the slab for us but I guess I could decide on the paint and actually paint right after we go look at marble slabs. I still need to strip all the paint from every piece of wood in this kitchen and it is a nightmare in this heat. I guess I could put that decision off for now and focus on other things...
