Grey walls and potentially gray sofa.... what accent colors to use?

I recently moved into a shotgun home and I want to paint my living room a light gray. We were also leaning towards a gray sofa. Which accent colors could I have in the living room all year around. I was leaning towards green, blue and orange but my husband does not agree. Any advice? I would also to have accents of gold in my hardware. Help?!

there is nothing wrong with your choices. but i would not paint til you have completed decorating. what colors did hubby like?

He likes blue and green but I think that’s too bright for the fall season. What do you guys think?

You should choose your colors based upon what you want to live with year-round, and not concern yourself with seasonal decorating. I think blues and greens would be pretty, or perhaps purples and greens. I even like a terra cotta / rust color with those shades.

This is a palette I’m working with for my cabin. The gree/blue and the orange are accents.

i do not see green in above. i would do a brighter or more teal shade of blue and green with that orange. i shall show you some comparisons in pillows, yeah!
