You don't have much room between the counter and the wall. If people are sitting at the counter and the table at the same time, the chairs could back into each other as people excuse themselves.We have 5' between the counter edge and the table edge and I would not want to get any narrower than that.

I would also get even narrower. That space is tight!

36-42" of clearance all around would be minimal. How long is your island and your door plus windows? The table should balance with those in length.

Wow thanks for all the fast replies. One thing to note is I would almost never had people on the stools and on the dining table at the same time. Also the stool in the picture will be swapped out at a later date for something more sleek.

Deco, my island is 112" long. And the windows plus doors are 149"

Length for six people 60" and for 6-8 people at least 78" long. Standard rectangular tables are between 36 to 40 inches wide. Custom is custom - to your needs.
