Design Dilemma- Off Center Fireplace

The fireplace’s Coquina stone goes well with our beachy vibe family room but here are the challenges: it is off center, we haven’t found stone to match to build it out more, mantel has got to go, 34” to the left is a doorway to the mud room, 54” to the right the wall angles and there is a window. We want to get a TV up, ideally centered but we are ok if it has to go right. We are up for anything and are looking forward to your ideas. Thank you!

What are the other walls like. Is this the only wall the TV can go on?

In terms of what to do, you could visually balance the wall by adding feature to the right of the fireplace. Perhaps asymmetric floating shelves or a ladder shelf? Something tall and slim...

Frame and hang your family portrait there. Add a beachy sculpture above the mantel.

I would build in (or have built) a cabinet that extends completely to under the window (at an angle along the side wall) and put your TV there. Do post some additional pictures though and perhaps there will be some better ideas! You could build it out with a different complementary material (flat stucco panels, horizontal wood paneling or shiplap) but with niches built in and set back a bit to not cut off too much light and then mount the TV there as well.

Can't really find a good example of what I'm taking about above, but I did come across this... I am not sure if something similar could work though this is a bit traditional. But a low cabinet with some trim that will allow for the light without leaving the whole space empty.

A lot will depend upon whether this room is your living room or a den where everything is cozy. Wall color, window treatments, cabinetry and flooring ideas will be more casual in a den.
