Post a layout. Plumbing and pocket doors cannot share the same space. All tile needs a rigid substrate engineered to support it.

Jessica excellent question. No glass, no tile or stone on a pocket door wall unless it has been reinforced. I have walked away from several projects over the years for this exact reason.

Can you explain how it needs to be reinforced?

Jessica, I know you didn’t ask about the width of the pocket door, but we have one that’s 24” wide between our laundry room and master closet. While the door between the two rooms is one of my favorites adds to our floor plan, it is really narrow. If you have a bit more room, I’d highly recommend going with a wider door.

When a pocket door is framed the 2x4 studs are sideways which allows for a great deal of flex. Usually a piece of angle iron or similar can be added during the framing to add rigidity. Unfortunately when a tile setter points this out the wall is already closed in and the contractor is unwilling to address what was their responsibility in the first place. That's when they see my taillights driving away. Will you find someone to tile it as is? Yes and that's the sad part.
