Color scheme crisis: trim

My kitchen has cream tile, aria quartz, sw canvas tan paint, and thatch cabinets. I feel as if alabaster trI’m and doors is still too stark. I was thinking sw pearly white might be better, but I’m afraid it will be too drab. So, can/should I do white trim with a brown and cream kitchen? Should I go creamier? less bright? I would appreciate any input. :)

I would do a nice crisp white trim like Benjamin Moore Simply White.

Are you painting the doors too? That back corner of the kitchen will look much brighter with doors and trim painted white.

I would do white trim and doors but pick a warmer toned white. I think people here like SW Alabaster. You really don’t have much in the ways of trim actually in your kitchen except for the window.

Thanks! I was afraid to do white (even alabaster) with my cream (biscuit) tile. This helps!

And we will be replacing doors that will be painted same color as trim. I will be glad to have that clashing corner improved!

Your cabinets are dark. Nothing is going to change that.

I have a brown & beige kitchen with SW Extra White trim. It's nice & crisp, but can swing both cool & warm colors around it.
