Hi!! Renting a brand new apartment and I would love feedback or advice how to add some of my own style into a space that feels formal. I’m attaching pictures of all things I have in my place currently but I want our new place to still feel earthy and mid century still. Mid-century furniture with earth accents like live edge shelves, cowhide rug, geode paintings, lots of plants etc. The trim is black and the walls are white/cream. The kitchen is also black and the counter tops are grey/cream granite. I have a beautiful blue chair but does it match? Does it jive?? What do you think about the bar chairs with the island??
