We just installed it in the master bath and walk-in closet of a home we just bought. I LOVE it!!! My enthusiasm might be just a tad influenced by the fact that it replaced the previous owner's 15-year-old brown carpeting that covered the entire bathroom floor, so anything was bound to be an improvement :-) But seriously, I really like it. There are earth-tone tiles all over the counter, back splash and tub surround in that bathroom. I wanted to tie the floors in with all of that as well as with the cooler wall color and new clear finish oak floors that we're putting in the adjoining master bedroom, and the Ankara Travertine fits the bill. Plus it feels really nice underfoot. I went ahead and carried it into the walk-in closet as well and am so glad I did. I'll be over there later today and take a few photos to share with you.

Thank you so much, galprins, for the photo! It does look nice. I can just see how it pulls from the earth-tone tiles. We have rainforest green countertops in the kitchen and the Ankara Travertine seems like it will be a calm contrast to the movement in the countertop, while pulling the earthy colors. It’s also good to see it over a fairly long expanse. (Funny, we’re also replacing brown carpet in the family room portion. It really needs to go!)

Galprins: Thanks for the photo! It looks great. Do you remember the name of the paint color for the walls?

Lavidamd: I don't know what that paint color is in the bathroom currently. We bought the house and that was what was in there already. I'm going to go lighter on the walls when I get to this room. In the adjoining master bedroom, I've just had it painted Wedgwood Gray (Benjamin Moore).
