If you cannot place your desk as was done in the other office, then Desk A is the better choice. You don't show any windows, and it would be better if there was no window behind you. Also do not place a mirror behind you.

I would keep the entrance clear. Business is also about making contacts, so make sure that you come across as available.

I would put the cabinet behind you, and place a couple of chairs against the wall at the entrance. This is especially important if you must meet with customers or other business people.

Make sure any papers stored on your desk are on the left side. Make sure the trash can is on the left side of the desk.
