help me please to change my bedroom color

I’m in desperate need of a bedroom makeover and don’t want to spend a fortune. My issues..
1. Color- I’m not a fan of the lavender, but it’s a fairly new coat of paint so I’m hesitant to change it.

2. I made a poor choice when I first put up white Roman shades and a white upholstered (and plain square) headboard. Shade replacement is expensive but maybe I should just ditch the headboard?

Any/all ideas are welcome.

3. I don’t have anything above the bed..

First find bedding that you like. Lavender can be used as a neutral, depending on the hue. Wait until you have things more to your liking before deciding if the headboard and shades need to go.
