Decor suggestions for Repose Gray living area

After 20 years of dark red and beige walls in our living and entryway, we've just repainted using SW Repose Gray on all of the walls. The trim is pure white and we have espresso colored laminate flooring. The room no longer feels warm and even though we primed, the color seems to be reading with a green tinge (to me anyway.) The biggest issue is that we have a fireplace with pinkish colored brick. The living room furniture is dark brown leather. So my questions are:

  • What color light bulbs would look best and bring out more of the gray?
  • In changing out our ceiling fans (because they all have brass finishes) would brushed nickel be a good option?
  • Any recommendations for colors we should look for in an area rug?
  • Any ideas at all for warming up the space would be great. We have 12 ft ceilings. The warm felt warm and cozy with the red - now, not so much.

I've included photos to show as best I could how the walls look now and what the brick looks like. I've been on here and Pinterest until I'm cross-eyed looking at rooms that are the same color and it doesn't appear the same at all. I am open to suggestions. Thanks!
